Join us Saturday, August 9, 2025 for this fun and unique view of Historic Spring Grove Cemetery and Arboretum at the  SEVENTEENTH annual Full Moon Tours. Bring a flashlight and join our ‘lanterned’ guides for a unique view of the Historic sections of the grounds IN THE DARK.  

We are watchman employed by the cemetery because there are grave robbers and body snatchers. Grave robbing – stealing valuables that might be buried with loved ones. Body snatching, these people are also called resurrectionists, – take body and sell to physicians or medical schools. We will be passing some famous Cincinnati family plots to make certain they are undisturbed, but because we do this every night we have noticed other markers and their meanings. 

Tour participants will enter through the Spring Grove Funeral Homes entrance of the cemetery and will meet at the Registration Tent behind our funeral home. Tours vary in length and time. PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL TOURS ARE WALKING TOURS. Funeral home gates will open at 8:00pm. Check in will begin at 8:30pm. The first tours will depart approximately at 9:00pm. Tours last 50-60 minutes. Reservations are required for these tours. There is no charge for these tours. We do ask that you bring a DONATED ITEM that will benefit Matthew 25 Ministries.
